Wolston Farm Trial Management is the trial-hosting arm of Wolston Farm, located in Scio, Oregon in the heart of the Willamette Valley. We plan, organize, and run sanctioned sheepdog trials at host venues throughout the region — bringing the sport to new audiences while giving handlers access to well-run, professionally managed competitions.
Our team draws on decades of experience in sheepdog training, trialing, and event management. We handle everything from course design and livestock procurement to entries, draws, running orders, and communications — so host venues can focus on the visitor experience and handlers can focus on their dogs.
We are affiliated with Whistle & Crook Stock Dog Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating the public on the use of herding dogs in agriculture and hosting the Northwest Championship Sheepdog Trial annually at Wolston Farm. We use their Get Set sheep setting services for events we manage whenever possible.
